Mix the Dough
In a bowl, mix the Harina de Maíz Amarillo Precocida P.A.N., salt, and water. Knead and add the butter. Knead again to incorporate all the ingredients until you get a soft and smooth dough.
Form and Fill the Tortillas
Divide the dough into small balls and form discs of about 1.5 cm thick. Make a small hole in the center of the ball and gradually make it larger until you have a dough bowl the size of your hand. Add a generous amount of cheese and close the bowl from the edges until it forms a ball again. You can also mix the cheese into the dough and flatten it gently with your hands to form a tortilla shape.
Cook the Tortillas
Cook for six minutes on each side on a greased griddle or pan.
